Open to Subscribers 🎉 New Book and Adventure Opportunities
Hi !
Well this is a big one. After an internal rework, I'm pleased to say that Intrepid Magazine is back open to subscribers.
Back at the end of 2019, we pressed pause on the bi-monthly magazine. We loved it dearly, but it just wasn't working financially. But we still love print and long reads, so we're showcasing a women in adventure book each month. Subscribers will get the first 3 chapters as a download. Scroll down to hear all about this month's book Rundinavia...
Plus, we'll be providing more free-to-read online content and membership benefits. We're giving our submissions guidelines a bit of a spring clean this week, but check back soon. We're a very small team, so step by step! Sometimes we have to remember to walk before we run.
BOOK OF THE MONTH
This month's book is Runindavia by Sophie Rooney. It's the story of her solo attempt to become the first woman to run the 3000km length of Scandinavia. Sophie begins this journey with very little running experience, a disillusionment with sprint kayaking (a sport she had been competing in since a young age) and a thirst to prove herself.

Do you love shouting about paddling on social media - the great bits and the tricky bits?!
Jo Moseley, one of last year's ambassadors saw it in this newsletter: "I wasn’t sure whether to apply but somehow reading it in Intrepid Magazine gave me the courage to go for it!" It could be you.
